	About Summer Report Cards

Heal the Bay's Summer Report Cards are the only comprehensive analysis of statewide water quality for dry weather done by any organization.

The summer Report Cards provide a 3-month summary of the overall dry weather water quality for all monitored beaches in California. Summer grades are currently calculated from data collected from May through September of each given year.

Summer grades are useful for determining potential trouble spots and health risks that may exist during the dry season when most people visit the beach.
