This year’s Bring Back the Beach Live Auction includes a 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid, a walk-on role on NBC’s hit television show Scrubs, an exclusive suite at a Lakers game, the chance to train like a star with a personalized tactical team training, a sumptuous stay at the Four Seasons, and a surfing lesson with world-champion Shaun Tomson.
For this year’s Silent Auction we also have exquisite, collectible art works from Catherine Opie, Chris Jordon, Jillian Kogan and many others, guest accommodations including the Ambrose Hotel, Casa Del Mar, the Fairmont Miramar, Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, and Shutters on the Beach, as well as exclusive jewelry pieces from Irene Neuwirth, Misa, Neria Designs, Susan Felsen, and Stefan Ranzlov.
Plus, as part of this year’s focus on making Bring Back the Beach 2008 a sustainable event through reducing, reusing and recycling, the Silent Auction also includes a number of ‘experience’ packages such as a private chef’s tasting experience with JiRaffe’s Raphael Lunetta, and a dining-out adventure with Pulitzer-prize winning, food critic Jonathan Gold.
Auction donors both contribute to supporting Heal the Bay and promote their organization to more than 1,200 leaders from the entertainment, business, political and environmental communities that attend Bring Back the Beach.
