⚠ Beach Closures Announced ⚠

Beach closures have been announced for Mother’s Beach, Venice City Beach, and Dockweiler State Beach following the discharge of 64,000 gallons of untreated sewage due to a waste line blockage. Avoid ANY contact with water AND wet sand at these locations. Heal the Bay scientists also recommend avoiding recreational activities requiring contact with waters in neighboring Marina del Rey watersheds. Check the “Alerts” tab of our Beach Report Card website or app for the latest updates before heading back to the water.
