At Heal the Bay, every day is Earth Day, but April 22nd is extra special because communities from around the world come together to appreciate the great gift that is our “little blue dot” and to help heal our planet.

Come celebrate the wonder of our Earth’s oceans with Heal the Bay Aquarium at our Earth Day jubilee Saturday, April 22, 2023.

 Our Aquarium’s Earth Day Celebration schedule includes:

12 PM -Aquarium Opens: Check out our award-winning animal exhibits, visit with sharks and sea stars in the touch tanks.

12:00 PM -3:00PM – Wildlife Observation Station: Visitors who walk to the west end of the Pier will find our wildlife station, staffed and stocked with binoculars and bird identification guides.

1:00 PM– Sea Star Feeding: Help Heal the Bay Aquarium staff feed our sea stars their favorite lunch in our Tide Pool Touch Tanks.

2:00 PM – Story Time: Join the Heal the Bay team for a whale of a tale at our Earth Month Themed Story time.

3:00 PM – Sea Star Feeding-Help Heal the Bay Aquarium staff feed our sea stars their favorite lunch in our Tide Pool Touch Tanks.

All Afternoon: Enjoy hands-on pollution displays, an eco-themed crafts station, short films, and our 6-foot-tall Marina the Mermaid art installation (artists Artist Andrea Martina Isenschmid).

Every Hour on the Hour from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM – Mini Dance Party: At the top of each hour, join Heal the Bay in our Dorothy Green Room for a Mini Dance Party to celebrate all things Earth Month.
