Summer Science Camp at Heal the Bay Aquarium

April 3 – April 7, 2023 (Kindergarten – Grade 6, Ages 5- 13)
·· Week 1: June 26th – July 1st, 9 am-2 pm (entering PK – 2nd grade in Fall 2022) 5 years and older-Migration Celebration – Start camp off with a splash and learn about the magical migration of the marine mammals that travel along the Santa Monica’s coastal waters.
· Week 2: July 5th – 7th, 9am-2pm (entering 3rd – 5th grade in Fall 2023)-Tiny and Truely Magnificent – Discover how the smallest animals at the Aquarium can make a huge impact in the ocean with some microscopic misadventures.
· Week 3: July 10th – 14th, 9 am-2 pm (entering 6th – 8th grade in Fall 2023)- Wonders – Some sea creatures can seem almost supernatural. Take a deep dive into what makes our underwater dwellers unique.
· Week 4: July 17th – 21st, 9am-2pm (entering K – 2nd grade in Fall 2023) 5 years and older (this is a repeat week)-Marine Munchers- Do fish have teeth? How do starfish eat? Can sharks smile? Discover the dental differences between some of the Pacific Ocean’s most iconic creatures.
· Week 5: July 31st – August 4th, 9 am-2 pm (entering 3rd – 5th grade in Fall 2023- Pollution Pirates – Set sail for adventure, crafts, and conservation. Perfect for mermaids and land-lovers alike.
Cost: $350 for the full week, OR $80 daily; T-shirt and fun science kit with registration (given out first day of camp/attendance)
