DESCRIPTION:Answer the Ocean’s Call with Moana at October’s Nothin’ But Sand Beach Clean Up\nTo celebrate the upcoming October 21 release of the live-action Moana on Disney+\, Disney and Heal the Bay — a nonprofit environmental organization dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds of Greater Los Angeles safe\, healthy and clean — are teaming up for a special community beach cleanup on Saturday\, October 17. DESCRIPTION:Join Safe Clean Water Program watershed coordinators from Heal the Bay for a day of service and volunteerism at the sacred Kuruvungna Springs in Los Angeles.\n\n\n\nPara la descripción del evento en español\, diríjase hacia abajo de la página. \n\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\nREGISTER \nInterested in learning more about Gabrielino-Tongva indigenous peoples?\nJoin us for a day of service at Kuruvungna Springs in Los Angeles\, CA\, and learn about the work the Gabrielino-Tongva Foundation does to preserve this Native American Heritage Site and the natural and cultural resources of this area. \nAt this event\, you will learn about the history of the Sacred Springs and get in touch with the Earth as we work to restore the Springs. \n  \nThis event is hosted by your Safe Clean Water Program Central and South Santa Monica Bay watershed coordinators from Heal the Bay\, in collaboration with the Gabrielino-Tongva Foundation. Help us care for this important space and learn more about the people who have stewarded the region since time immemorial. \nJOIN US \nWe will also host a food drive on our Day of Service. If you are interested in donating to this food drive\, West Side Food Bank is asking for these items be donated. \n  \nRegistration in advance is required and adults must agree to the terms of the waiver when registering.
