Join us for a day of action\, education\, and community impact. \n📍 Location: Santa Monica Beach Pier (Northside) – Tower 1550\n📅 Date: Saturday\, April 18\n⏰ Time: 10 AM – 12 PM \nREGISTER \n\nThank you to our sponsors for supporting this Earth Month Clean Up \n                 \n            \n  \n\nDAY OF SCHEDULE  \nBEACH CLEANUP\n10 AM – 12 PM @ Santa Monica Beach Pier (Northside)\, Tower 1550\nHelp remove hundreds of pounds of harmful marine debris with volunteers from all over Los Angeles!\nAll volunteers must receive their Beach Talk before checking in. After the talk\, they’ll check in and gather supplies\, then begin their cleanup.\nRolling check-in will continue until 11:00 AM. Pre-registered volunteers may consider arriving after 10:15 AM to avoid the biggest crowds.\nSold out? If general admission sells out\, you can still show up. Walk-ups should arrive by 10:45 AM to allow time for registration. However\, you will be responsible for bringing your own cleanup supplies\, and you must complete the check-in process by 11 AM. \nEXPO HUB \n10:00 AM – 12 PM\nStop by this hub to interact with our partners\, sponsors\, and us! Here\, you’ll find cool exhibits\, promotions\, information on how to get more involved\, and interactive activations relevant to the LA region and the entire West Coast. This month’s Expo Hub will be dedicated to Earth Month and advocacy for a circular economy! \nSUSTAINABLE FASHION ACTIVATION + CLOTHING SWAP \n10:00 AM – 12 PM \nStop by Joins us for a Sustainable Fashion Activation led by Lexy Silverstain\, exploring the connection between fashion\, waste\, and ocean pollution through short\, drop-in talks. We’ll also be hosting a community clothing swap. \nHow it works: \n\nBring up to 6 pieces of clean\, gently worn clothing (no undergarments)\nTake home up to the same number of items you brought (bring 6\, take 6)\nWhen you arrive\, hang or fold your items for others to browse\, then start shopping\nAny remaining items will be donated to Homeboy Threads\, and items that can’t be reused will be recycled through Trashie\n\nStop by anytime to learn\, connect\, and participate in a more sustainable approach to fashion \nED TALK TENT\n11:20 AM – 12 PM \nConnect with fellow volunteers\, learn more about Heal the Bay\, engage in community discussion\, hear talks from marine scientists\, environmental policy specialists\, ClimateTech organizations\, and more. Please note: Heal the Bay guarantees cleanup supplies for the first 300 people who are registered. \n\n\n\nEach volunteer registers individually. \n\nIndividuals under 18: reserve a ticket and submit a digital waiver \n\nCLEANING UP WITH A GROUP OF 15+? HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!  \nAre you participating as part of a company\, school\, nonprofit\, or other organization? We’d love to have your group join us!  \nPlease follow these steps: \n\nThe Group Coordinator MUST RSVP their own ticket BEFORE REQUESTING a group registration\nRegister Your Group: Group Coordinators\, please email adopt@healthebay.org [ATTN: NBS Group Registration] with your:\n\nGroup name\nA brief description/team headline\, or story\nFundraising goal\nCoordinator contact information\nExpected group size\n\n\nWait for Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation. Your group will then appear as an option during the RSVP process.\nHave Your Members RSVP: Each person in your group must register individually and complete the waiver process. Instruct your members to click “Join a team” when registering.\nCheck In Together: On event day\, please gather your group before your Blue Flag Beach Talk. If someone arrives late\, they can still attend the required talks\, check-in\, and catch up with the group after picking up supplies.\n\nEvent Sold Out?  You can still attend! Just bring your own gloves and receptacle\, and our environmental experts will help you navigate the site and understand the impact of your work. \nWe will host another Nothin’ But Sand cleanup next month.
