DESCRIPTION:Join Heal the Bay for a morning of community science at the Point Dume tidepools in Malibu. Using the iNaturalist app\, participants will document marine life and help create a real-time snapshot of biodiversity along the California coast. Every observation contributes valuable data used by scientists and researchers to better understand local coastal ecology. \nFrom sea stars to anemones\, you’ll help uncover the incredible biodiversity hiding in the intertidal zone while supporting ongoing coastal research and monitoring efforts statewide. \n📍 Point Dume Tidepools\, Malibu\nAdditional details about parking and the meetup location will be emailed prior to the event\n📅 Sunday\, July 19\, 2026\n⏰ 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM \nREGISTER \nWhat to Bring:\n\nFor your safety\, please wear closed-toed shoes and sun protection\nA reusable water bottle\nA smartphone with the iNaturalist app already downloaded.\nYour friends and family!
