Heal the Bay Advancement
Whitney supports Heal the Bay’s important fundraising goals through her corporate relations work and stewardship of the Suits on the Sand beach cleanup program. Whitney’s passion for ocean conservation began in her high school Marine Biology class in Kauai, HI, studying the effects of sunscreen chemicals on marine life.
Her love for events and bringing people together flourished while working with Goldenvoice for numerous music festivals. After graduating from the University of Southern California, Whitney founded a nonprofit in honor of her late mother, Denise. She went on to pursue an M.A. in Psychology at Pepperdine University. She is committed to using her skill sets in events and nonprofit advancement along with her passion for the ocean to support Heal the Bay’s mission to make our waters cleaner and safer for all.
Fun fact: Whitney has two pet turtles named Pizza and Picasso!
