Tim leads Heal the Bay’s philanthropy and advancement team, bringing deep experience in building fundraising programs and creating infrastructure that helps mission-driven organizations grow. A Southern California native, he has dedicated his career to helping nonprofits, universities, and independent schools achieve their philanthropic goals. Most recently, Tim led the development team at the Catalina Island Conservancy where he launched a major fundraising campaign and built out the philanthropic function. Tim received his B.A. from Tulane University, M.B.A. from the University of Louisiana, and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
An endurance athlete at heart, Tim has run nearly every mile of the Santa Monica Bay coastline. He competes regularly in marathons and coaches a middle school girls cross country and track team. When he’s not on the trail, he can usually be found walking his senior rescue dogs with his wife Jamie.
