Laurel Irvine is a Los Angeles native, life-long ocean advocate, and environmental communicator who believes storytelling can be a powerful catalyst for change. Her career began in film and television production before evolving into entertainment public relations and, ultimately, environmental advocacy. Over the past decade, she has brought her storytelling and communications skills to grassroots organizations to help expand their reach and campaign successes.
At the heart of Laurel’s approach is connection: connecting people to the places they love, the wildlife they share the planet with, and the communities working to protect our collective home. She believes environmental storytelling should inspire action rather than overwhelm audiences with doom — making even complex conservation challenges understandable, urgent, and empowering.
