Plastic Free July Nothin’ But Sand Beach Cleanup
Join Heal the Bay this Plastic Free July for a beach cleanup and help fight single-use plastic pollution at the source. Every year, millions of plastic bottles, bags, food wrappers, and cigarette butts enter our ocean, harming marine life, contaminating coastal ecosystems, and breaking down into dangerous microplastics.
Help protect our beaches and waterways by removing harmful trash before it reaches the ocean, and discover how small everyday choices can help create a cleaner, healthier, plastic-free future.

Waiver Required for All Volunteers
To help make check-in quick and easy, please complete your waiver before arriving using the same email address you used to register for the event.
- Adults (18+) and families: Complete the online waiver. Click here for adult waiver.
- Volunteers under 18: A parent or legal guardian must complete the minor waiver. Click here for minor waiver.
Filling out your waiver ahead of time helps shorten the check-in process so you can spend more time enjoying the clean up.

- Reusable water bottle
- Sun protection
- Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
- Gloves and cleanup supplies (optional—provided while supplies last)
