Looking
for a fast and easy way to volunteer as an individual or group? Then this
cleanup is for you!
Nothin’ But Sand (NBS) cleanups are hands-on opportunities for volunteers to directly improve the condition of Santa Monica Bay beaches while enjoying the great outdoors.
Cleanup locations
rotate throughout the year amongst
Los Angeles County's
dirtiest
beaches...those
that most need your help! Plus, it's
easy to participate: a Volunteer Application is
not required and Heal the Bay provides all the cleanup supplies. All you need to do is show up!
The cleanups are held the third Saturday of each month, from 10:00am -12:00pm. All are welcome to participate in the cleanups, but each participant must sign a liability waiver (available at the cleanup). There is no minimum age, however, those under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Those participants under 18 who will not have a parent or guardian present at the event must print the waiver form beforehand, have it signed and bring it with them to the cleanup.
To find when and where “Nothin’ But Sand cleanups are, just check the Cleanup Schedule on the right-side of this page. The cleanups are also listed on the main events Calendar. In addition, get your name on our e-mail
Cleanup Alert List
and we'll let you know where and when the next cleanup will be taking place. All you need to do is show up whenever you receive an e-mail about a scheduled cleanup.
We
hope to see you at our next monthly cleanup
where we'll all pitch in to clean the beach
and leave “Nothin’ but
Sand”!
