Join Heal the Bay and The Bay Foundation for a BioBlitz at the Santa Monica Dunes!

A BioBlitz is a hands-on community science event where people of all ages team up to explore and document the unique plants and animals that call the dunes home. By making observations with the iNaturalist app, you’ll contribute to a global biodiversity database that supports real-world research and conservation efforts.
As you explore, you’ll also take part in dune restoration, helping to protect fragile species, strengthen coastal resilience, and preserve this natural barrier against storms and erosion.
