Enjoy light snacks and a welcoming atmosphere at the Aquarium under the Santa Monica Pier as we come together to reflect on the past year, share what we’ve learned, and consider how we can protect our coast moving forward.

About the Artist

Heidi Lawden was inspired by and embedded in London’s club and early rave scene as a teen and has worked in the world of dance music ever since; a lifer. Now based in L.A, she DJs at the worlds finest clubs, undergrounds and festivals, fluidly combining House, Techno and synth-laden Disco oddities to create a world of her own, Heidi has gained the respect and admiration of her peers through her knowledge, style, skill and infectious excitement in the booth as well as her commitment to elevating dance music, and it’s global community. She has released tracks under the names Locussolus, Heidi Höven as well as her own name on label Extra Sensory, Heidi has remixed for labels including Heavenly, International Feel, a Locussolus track she cowrote and produced featuring her vocals is in the Searchlight movie, Greatest Hits.

Heidi is a human and animal rights advocate, with a litter of rescue animals of her own. She is also dedicated to protecting our coastline and ocean. A devoted Topanga resident who was displaced by the Palisades fire, Heidi used her platform to advocate for protecting Topanga Creek from wildfire-related contaminants. 1 year later, she continues to stand up for the Greater Los Angeles area.
