Celebrate our NEW Welcome Center on TOP of the Santa Monica Pier

Join Heal the Bay Aquarium as we celebrate 20 years of excellence in Santa Monica Bay habitat education, protection and conservation with our New Welcome Center & Gift Shop on the Historic Santa Monica Pier.
In honor of the 20th Anniversary, Heal the Bay, Aquarium staff, and elected officials will cut the ribbon on our brand-new Welcome Center and Gift shop ON TOP of the Historic Santa Monica Pier.
The aquarium will be offering annual membership and tours of the aquarium including shark and ray touch tanks and even more award-winning exhibits.
WHEN: Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10:00 AM PST
WHERE: Ribbon cutting will be held at the Santa Monica Pier ( Parking is available in the North 1 Lot. Our press conference will be in English and Spanish.
No RSVP needed. All are welcome. So SWIM on by and be a part of our historic Welcome Center unveiling!
AFTER the ribbon cutting pop by the Shark Shack Pop Up at Heal the Bay Aquarium to learn about the important roll sharks play in our ecosystems with the CSULB Shark Lab team.
