Coastal Cleanup Day Site Captain Training
Heal the Bay needs your help!
Coastal Cleanup Day is the biggest environmental day of action of the year, inspiring millions of volunteers all over the world to make an impact. Here in Los Angeles County, Heal the Bay coordinates Coastal Cleanup Day efforts across more than 50 coastal, inland, dive, and kayak cleanup sites. This year, on September 23, 2023, Heal the Bay will celebrate its 34th year coordinating this amazing event, and we are expecting 7,000 volunteers to participate in LA County alone! Help Heal the Bay remove thousands of pounds of trash from our watershed. Become a Coastal Cleanup Day Site Captain and lead a Heal the Bay Cleanup of your own! Join our first VIRTUAL Training Session on August 12, 2023! The Coastal Cleanup Day “CCD” Site Captain Training is designed to teach you everything you need to know about Coastal Cleanup Day on September 23, 2023, to ensure you and your crew are well prepared to serve as leaders for your Coastal Cleanup Day site. Some training sessions are for returning site captains, new site captains, or for both! All site captains must attend at least 1 training session! We have trainings scheduled:
