Calling all water lovers who also love public speaking! Join Heal the Bay for our upcoming Speakers Bureau August 2024 training, where you will learn how to give presentations on topics such as ocean pollution and the storm drain system to residents of Los Angeles County and how to give Beach Safety Talks at Heal the Bay’s monthly beach cleanup.
We will proudly host our training in person on two Saturdays and two Wednesdays in August. This includes three in-person educational training sessions and a session on the sand at our monthly Nothin’ But Sand cleanup.
These dates include:
- Session 1- August 10, 2024: 1:00pm-4:00pm @ Heal the Bay Aquarium
- Session 2- August 17, 2024: 9:30am-11:30am @ Nothin’ But Sand Beach Cleanup – Torrance Beach
- Session 3 – August 21, 2024: 12:00pm-3:00pm @ Heal the Bay Headquarters
- Session 4 – August 28, 2024: 12:00pm-3:00pm @ Heal the Bay Headquarters
If you want to gain more experience in public speaking and deepen your knowledge of water issues in Los Angeles, this training is for you.
