Are you great with kids? Do you love being on the beach? If so, Key to the Sea would love your help as a volunteer naturalist!
As a naturalist, you'll be an integral part of the Beach Exploration portion of the Key to the Sea field trip. You'll lead classes of children (K-5) through a guided exploration of beach habitats doing hands-on, fun, educational activities.
Often, a Key to the Sea field trip is a child's first visit ever to the beach. You can help make it a fun and meaningful experience by joining our team of naturalists. Heal the Bay will provide the necessary training...all you need is your passion for the environment and your enthusiasm for making a difference.
To become a Key to the Sea Naturalist, please see the "How to Volunteer" sidebar to the right. A Volunteer Orientation & Training session must be attended prior to volunteering for this opportunity.
If you have any questions about the being a Key to the Sea Naturalist, please contact us at 800 HEAL BAY x147, or send e-mail. |
